Care has been taken to ensure that weights and measurements are as accurate as possible, however please do note that these are only approximate.
These specimens are perfectly naturally terminated and in their natural raw form so shedding of small crystals is normal. Natural inclusions, chips, cracks and pockets are all visible and all part of the mining process or from natural causes. Please check all photos. Please handle with extra care as these are very fragile stones.
Aquamarine is the blue to green-blue gemstone variety of beryl. The name aquamarine comes from two Latin words aqua marinus meaning “water of the sea”. Aquamarine can be found growing within Siderite. This is a mineral of primarily iron carbonate and found in the Erongo Mountains of Namibia. It can also grow within Black Tourmaline and Feldspar.
